Albuquerque, New Mexico RapidRide and the Street Car to Nowhere. Where's the money Mr. Major that was supposed to be spent on transit ... new buses, drivers, more frequent routes?

Is the Major of this City Querky or what? The Major doesn't want to answer a question that has been hanging about since the end of last August of 2005 about the $28,000,000 that was "misappropriated" in tax moneys collected for the past five years to fix the transit problems.

He is now promoting taking the 1/4 cent tax money that was supposed to be spent on more routes, buses, and drivers since FY 2000 and building a silly "Street Car To No Where" that just duplicates the Rapid Ride ... how many more Rapid Ride or Regular Buses could we have for what is being proposed for the street car?
